PAL Aerospace is proud to partner with SkyAlyne, the prime contractor for the Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) Program—Canada’s next-generation training initiative for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF). This transformative program will redefine how Canada trains its pilots, Air Combat Systems Officers (ACSOs), and Airborne Electronic Sensor Operators (AES Ops) through a powerful blend of live flying, advanced simulation, and classroom instruction.


PAL Aerospace is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support the Program Manager in St. John’s, NL.


Duties and Responsibilities: 


Requirements Management

  • Document, decompose, manage, and track current business requirements.
  • Document, decompose, manage, and track Project and Program requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews with divisional reps, leading the discussion to gather requirements.
  • Create test plans, test scripts, and work with stakeholders as needed to monitor test execution while assessing, tracking, and managing defects.

Process Management

  • Create and implement process improvement strategies.
  • Develop process models for optimization.
  • Enhance and continually improve performance reporting.
  • Analyze results against trends and benchmarks to find efficiencies and opportunities.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define and document applicable processes, procedures, etc.

Project Management

  • Prepare or assist with other project-related documents or tasks as required by the Project Manager.
  • Conduct GAP analysis on existing and new solutions.
  • Provide support for the development and reporting of key performance indicators for senior level management.
  • Create reports, PowerPoints, and other communication to management as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • IIBA certification (E or CCBA) or PMI – PBA
  • PMI – CAPM or PMP equivalent considered an asset.
  • Experience in an Aviation/Aerospace setting considered an asset.
  • Proven experience in process development.
  • Experience using MS SharePoint, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Project, Power of BI, as well as Jama software.

Security Responsibilities:   

Incumbent must be able to obtain the required level of Government of Canada Personnel Security Clearance.
