The Data Analyst will drive strategic analytics by moving beyond reporting to diagnostic and predictive analysis to solve business problems. They will also architect scalable data solutions in Databricks and communicate complex findings to executive leadership.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline and possess at least 2 years of experience in data analysis. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and data architecture principles is required, along with strong communication skills.
About the role:
Drive Strategic Analytics: Move beyond descriptive reporting to diagnostic and predictive analysis. You will proactively identify business variances (e.g., retention drops, funnel leakage), isolate root causes (mix shift vs. performance), and recommend actionable solutions to leadership.
Own End-to-End Execution: Act with high agency to take projects from vague problem statements to deployed solutions. You will serve as the analytics lead for your domain, managing stakeholders, defining requirements, and driving progress with minimal supervision.
Architect Scalable Solutions: Design and build robust data pipelines and sandboxes within Databricks (PySpark/SQL) that serve as the "Single Source of Truth" for the organization. You will optimize code for performance and reliability.
Communicate with Impact: Serve as a "technical translator" who can synthesize complex data findings into clear, executive-level narratives. You will present insights in high-stakes forums to drive consensus and alignment.
Foster Data Excellence: Champion best practices in data governance, definitions, documentation, and ensuring that the business trusts the numbers you produce.
