About the job:

At Google, we put our users first. The world is always changing, so we need Product Managers who are continuously adapting and excited to work on products that affect millions of people every day.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

One of the many reasons Google consistently brings innovative, world-changing products to market is because of the collaborative work we do in Product Management. Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

In this role, you will bring the experience, passion, and drive to envision and deliver great user experiences, great platform services, and meaningful impact to customers' businesses. As a part of this role, you will help radically transform what users expect of a contact center through agentic capabilities, insights, ML-based automation, and platform capabilities. As a part of this role, you will need to go past the obvious, be unafraid to hold an opinion on strategy and direction, and bring the tenacity and conviction to turn into reality. In this role, you will need to be a learner, curious, and articulate someone who is aspirational, bold, and transformative, yet practical and impact focused.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand users and problem domains, articulate business goals, and define crisp execution plans, including product strategy, and roadmap that is detailed, clear, and compelling to users, and clearly defined for our team.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering, UX, Program Managers, and other teams to deliver a product that we and our users are proud of and that meets our business or technical goals.
  • Earn the trust of our team, of our leaders, and our users, by delivering on our commitments and getting things done.
  • Craft new opportunities proactively to improve the lives of our users, and work across the organization to pursue them.
  • Maintain a level of curiosity and hunger to learn as the AI technological shifts continue, staying comfortable with change, flexible and adaptable in technical, organizational, and customer shifts.
