Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with a strong analytics and data science foundation to drive high‑impact, data‑driven decisions across the business. In this role, you will go beyond descriptive reporting, shaping analytical solutions, developing scalable datamarts, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior stakeholders.

You will work at the intersection of analytics engineering, business intelligence, and applied data science, collaborating closely with business teams to influence strategic and operational outcomes.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning analytical problem statements end‑to‑end, from data modeling and exploration to advanced analysis, visualization, and stakeholder communication.

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and own analytical datamarts using SQL and Python, ensuring scalability, performance, and analytical robustness.
  • Build and maintain high‑impact Tableau and Power BI dashboards that track KPIs and support executive and operational decision‑making.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and optimization opportunities across all business domains.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches, hypotheses, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to define success metrics, frame analytical questions, and deliver insights that drive action.
  • Use data visualization and storytelling techniques to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Identify opportunities to improve dashboard performance, data models, and reporting landscape consolidation.
  • Maintain reporting schedules and data extracts where required, ensuring data reliability and consistency.
  • Provide 1st‑level support, while proactively improving self‑service analytics capabilities.
  • Stay up to date with modern BI, analytics, and data science best practices, continuously raising the analytical maturity of the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Several years of experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, Senior Analyst, or Analytics Engineer in a complex data environment.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling, with a focus on analytical quality and performance.
  • Advanced experience with Tableau Desktop; solid Power BI knowledge is a plus.
  • Python experience for data analysis, automation, or advanced analytics is highly desirable.
  • Hands‑on experience working with enterprise data platforms (e.g. AWS Athena, SAP BW, Oracle, or comparable technologies).
  • Solid understanding of analytical concepts such as KPI design, experimentation, trend analysis, and data validation.
  • Ability to think analytically and strategically, balancing business context with technical depth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the confidence to present insights to senior stakeholders.
