We in the Credit Risk IT department at RWE Supply & Trading GmbH (RWEST) are responsible for the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our critical business systems.
We’re looking for .NET developers who are motivated to work on business-critical applications and contribute to ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for the runtime of an internal project to backfill for the colleagues doing the project work.

RWEST is undertaking the Credit System Landscape Optimisation Project, now renamed BradyExit. The fixed-term employment is for work on the BradyExit Project, which focuses on optimising the credit system landscape and is expected to continue until 31.12.2028. The staffing requirement will end once the project is completed.

 

About the role

  • Work closely with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technology teams to define requirements for a new Credit Risk Management System.
  • Develop a strong understanding of credit risk processes, including counterparty onboarding, credit assessment, limits, exposure monitoring, collateral, and risk controls.
  • Elicit, document, and manage business, functional, and non-functional requirements using structured analysis techniques.
  • Translate complex requirements into clear user stories, process flows, and specifications to support solution design and development.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, change management, user training, and successful adoption of new processes and technology solutions.

 

Job requirements and experience

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within complex business and technology environments.
  • Strong requirements gathering, analysis, and stakeholder management skills across different levels of an organisation.
  • Experience documenting business processes, user stories, use cases, business requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business challenges into practical solutions.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, process improvement initiatives, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Understanding of system development lifecycles and Agile delivery frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent, alongside testing, business validation, and UAT activities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; experience in credit risk, trading, energy markets, financial services, or data-driven environments is highly desirable.
