Job Duties
Explores healthcareΒ and operational datasets to identify patterns, anomalies, and signals that inform decision-making
Develops, validates, and maintains reports using tools and platforms such as Structured Query Language (SQL) and Databricks, along with Microsoft Excel, Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI), and other analytics platforms, ensuring outputs are accurate, traceable, and repeatable
Organizes and documents datasets and workflows so work can be understood, reproduced, and maintained
Builds dashboards and reporting solutions that make utilization, cost, and operational performance visible and actionable
Summarizes findings in a way that helps stakeholders understand what the data shows and what it means
Supports regulatory and enterprise reporting with attention to completeness, compliance, and data integrity
Identifies issues in data or reporting and raises questions and suggested approaches
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and confirm shared understanding
Contributes to projects and data requests by owning defined pieces of work and communicating progress clearly
Job Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or healthcare analytics, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.Β
Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to interpret complex datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable insights.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working with SQL, Excel, and reporting/analytics tools; able to learn new technologies quickly.
Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in data validation, report development, and documentation.
Collaboration & Communication: Works effectively with cross functional teams to clarify requirements and present findings.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Crystal Reports, MedInsight, or similar tools.
Knowledge of healthcare utilization metrics, medical cost analysis, and performance indicators.
Familiarity with predictive modeling concepts and trend forecasting.
Microsoft certification or similar technical credentials.
