
The Salesforce Business Analyst will serve as the primary administrator for Salesforce Media Cloud, managing system configurations, automation, and user permissions. They will also partner with revenue teams to develop actionable analytics, optimize sales processes, and ensure data integrity across the organization.
Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in Salesforce administration and sales operations, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) is required or must be obtained within the first year of employment.
The big picture: Axios is a modern media company dedicated to providing trustworthy, award-winning news content in an audience-first format. We are hiring a Salesforce Business Analyst to help build and scale our CRM, reporting, and analytics capabilities, as part of our Revenue Operations team.
Why it matters: This role owns and administers our Salesforce Media Cloud instance, ensuring the platform supports the needs of our revenue organization and serves as a trusted source of data. Beyond day-to-day Salesforce administration, this role will develop reporting, analytics, and insights that turn revenue data into meaningful business intelligence. This role will report to the Senior Director of Revenue Strategy and Operations.

Starting salary for this role is in the range of $65,000 - $75,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation benefits. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting, this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.
