What Will I Be Doing? 👩💻👨💻

  • Take full ownership of the quality strategy for everything we deliver to our customers. Champion a culture of excellence in quality across all aspects of our product.

  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to define, design, and execute testing strategies that ensure fast, reliable, and high-quality product releases.

  • Lead and mentor other engineers in the team, fostering an environment of collaboration, continuous improvement, and skill development.

  • Spearhead efforts to integrate automation at every opportunity. Lead the creation of automated test suites and frameworks to boost efficiency and accelerate delivery cycles.

  • Work alongside engineers to enhance integration and performance testing, and ensure the reliability of our product across various environments.

  • Dive into technical details, analyse logs, troubleshoot complex issues, and refine quality processes to continuously improve the quality of the product.

  • Drive the development of new tools, frameworks, and dashboards that enhance testing workflows, provide clear reporting, and ensure alignment with the team's goals.

  • Own and drive AI-enabled Quality Engineering for the tribe

What Do I Need? 🤓

  • 7+ years of industry experience, with at least 2 years in a lead position within a SaaS.

  • Deep understanding of testing methodologies, techniques, and tools, with experience leading test efforts for large-scale, customer-facing applications and APIs.

  • Strong experience in test automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and scripting languages for automation.

  • Ability to lead by example, mentor a diverse team, and influence cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.

  • Comfortable tackling complex technical challenges, optimising testing processes, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders and deliver clear, actionable information.

  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to improve product quality and team efficiency.

  • Willingness to quickly learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies, and lead efforts to integrate them into the testing process.

  • AI mindset with hands-on usage of modern AI tooling to improve quality engineering productivity and coverage.

    • Hands-on experience using agentic AI tools to accelerate testing, debugging, test generation, and automation workflows.

    • Able to evaluate, implement, and operationalize AI-assisted approaches responsibly

    • Experience building or extending internal tools/frameworks using AI

    • Familiarity with integrating AI workflows into day-to-day engineering execution
