We also help our clients address their budgeting and planning requirements leveraging financial planning and analytics tools.
As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Development Consultant, you will be instrumental in the growth of our team. As the demand for cloud ERP services increases, you will play a critical role in the execution of projects in a variety of industries.
This is a full-time (Monday – Friday), permanent position. Ideally, we are looking for someone in the Calgary area that could work a hybrid schedule from their home office and the company office. Candidates from other locations may be considered.
Your responsibilities will include:
Utilizing industry best-practices to design, code, and test Business Central (BC) enhancements (extensions), integrations, and custom reports;
Automating processes within BC and related applications;
Creating and maintaining clear and concise technical documentation, including code comments, system architecture diagrams, and user guides;
Diagnosing and resolving software defects and issues, while providing timely support to end-users;
Scoping projects and creating estimates for client software enhancements;
Maintaining, updating, and testing existing application solutions;
Learning unfamiliar features and functionality in BC;
Educating colleagues and clients on BC capabilities;
Logging your time, documenting your activities, and;
Helping to develop internal processes and tools to improve support and solution delivery.
Experience in or understanding of the following areas is considered an asset:
Knowledge of the Microsoft Business Central environment;
Development experience in AL and/or C/AL languages for Dynamics BC/NAV;
Experience with Power Automate and Power Platform;
System integrations, and/or cloud technologies;
Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, Microsoft Dynamics NAV;
Azure DevOps, Azure Functions;
REST and ODATA APIs, Postman;
Microsoft SQL Server object development; and
Familiarity with SQL Server Report Builder.
