How you'll make an impact in this role

  • National Initiatives & Leadership: Lead national initiatives and partner with leadership to establish accountability measures, structures, and processes for safety outcomes.
  • Regional & Market Collaboration: Provide regional partnership, collaboration, and coaching oversight for patient safety programs, working closely with market-level leadership.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate or coordinate the investigation of patient safety-related incidents.
  • Data Analytics & Reporting: Review and analyze safety data to identify opportunities for error prevention, develop corrective action plans, and prepare reports for committees and leadership.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain records and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 3 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 2 years of cumulative experience OR 7 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience preferred.

What additional requirements you'll need

  • 1+ year experience facilitating medium-large scale projects or work initiatives
  • Healthcare Risk Management, Quality and/or Process Improvement, or Transfer Center Operations experience highly desired
  • 1+ year of leadership experience
  • Registered Nurse license highly desired
  • Preferred Credentials
    • Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM)
    • Certified Professional Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
    • Lean Six Sigma Certified (LSSGB or LSSBB)
    • Project Management Professional (PMP)
