Job Summary:

Responsible for the preparation of analyses and reports for department managers. Supports the annual budget process, expense and/or staffing forecasts or statistical reporting.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Prepares analyses and reports for department managers. Works with assigned organizational unit(s) to develop annual budgets, expense and staffing forecasts, and statistical reporting. Supports month end close. Prepares and consolidates financial data. Prepares statistical reporting, including financial performance, variance explanations, and cost analysis. Executes special projects as assigned.

Financial Analysis - Interprets financial data by analyzing trends, variances, opportunities and risks to provide insight to stakeholders regarding financial impact to drive business improvement; evaluates financial results against targets to communicate conclusions to all stakeholders; ensures integrity of financial data by investigating variances and determining corrective actions to resolve identified issues. 

Financial Reporting - Analyzes financial data by evaluating results and solutions to support business decisions; prepares and presents financial information by summarizing data to communicate results in compliance with regulations and stakeholder expectations; partners with stakeholders to drive financial performance that aligns to organizational goals and strategies. 


US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles - Evaluates US accounting standards to record transactions in compliance with requirements and company policies; assesses the accounting requirements and objectives to determine the implications on the business and communicate to stakeholders with varying financial knowledge. 

Education, Licenses, Certifications: 
College, university, or equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required,CA-Inter,CMA - Inter qualified preferred.

Experience: 
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications

  • Drive Automation Projects: Lead and execute site-level automation initiatives to streamline finance workflows and eliminate manual processing.
  • Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Prepare and analyze monthly comparative reports of actual financial performance against forecasted projections.
  • Plant Operations Support: Partner directly with the plant operations team, providing financial guidance and support for day-to-day operational activities and deliverables.
  • Audit Compliance: Facilitate and support quarterly internal and external audit requirements to ensure adherence to corporate financial standards.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliation: Manage the monthly balance sheet reconciliation process, ensuring the timely investigation and closure of aged reconciliation items.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional plant teams to drive key deliverables, including KPI tracking, plant performance reviews, and mandatory statutory submissions to government offices.

Skill, Education, or Experience Requirements

  • Experience: Proven track record in plant accounting, manufacturing finance, or a closely related corporate finance environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in balance sheet reconciliation, variance analysis, and managing financial audit cycles,statutory submissions.
  • System Knowledge: Hands-on experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills..
  • Process Automation & BI: Strong preference for candidates with experience utilizing data visualization or business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) to build financial dashboards.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience working directly within a manufacturing facility or plant environment.

This role requires 5 days onsite availability, basis work requirement.
