Description

About Junes All Day Cafe

Straight from the iconic corner of South Congress in Austin, Junes All Day Cafe is expanding to Dallas! June's is a neighborhood hub with a serious culinary backbone, a legendary wine program, and a vibrant, unpretentious energy. Inspired by European cafes and classic American diners, we offer an effortless experience from the first pour of morning espresso to the final late-night glass of natural wine.

As we prepare to launch our highly anticipated Dallas flagship, we are seeking a visionary, business-minded General Manager to spearhead the opening, establish our culture, and drive the financial and operational success of this landmark location.

The Role: What You’ll Do

As the General Manager, you are the ultimate custodian of the guest experience, the team culture, and the financial bottom line. You will oversee all Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) operations, acting as the bridge between the restaurant, local community, and corporate leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The Launch Commander: Lead the pre-opening charge, including high-volume hiring, developing local vendor relationships, setting up SOPs, and managing the opening budget and timeline.

  • Business & P&L Ownership: Take full accountability for the restaurant’s financial performance. Drive revenue, manage labor and prime costs, control inventory, and maximize profitability without compromising quality.

  • Culture Architect: Build, inspire, and retain a high-performing management and hourly team. Foster an inclusive, professional, and hospitality-first culture where staff development is prioritized.

  • All-Day Execution: Ensure the venue transitions seamlessly across its various identities—from a bustling breakfast and lunch spot to a high-energy, wine-forward dinner destination.

  • Brand Ambassador: Act as the face of June’s in Dallas. Cultivate deep relationships with local guests, media, and neighborhood partners to establish a fiercely loyal regular base.

Who You Are

You are an entrepreneurial leader who runs a restaurant with the precision of a CEO and the warmth of a world-class host.

  • Proven Leader: You have 4+ years as a GM in a high-volume ($4M+ annual revenue), beverage-forward, or multi-faceted hospitality concept. New restaurant opening experience is highly preferred.

  • Dallas Savvy: You have a deep understanding of the Dallas dining landscape and know exactly what the local clientele expects when it comes to service, speed, and style.

  • Financial Expert: You are highly proficient in restaurant financials, P&L analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and labor optimization tools.

  • Beverage Passionate: You have a sophisticated understanding of wine programs (particularly natural/unconventional selections), craft cocktails, and premium coffee culture.

  • Systems Driver: Expert knowledge of modern restaurant tech stacks (Toast, Resy, 7shifts, Compeat/MarginEdge, etc.).

What’s in it for You?

  • Highly competitive base salary + Bonus

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) package

  • Dining allowances across the corporate hospitality portfolio

  • The platform to launch one of the most exciting openings in Dallas with significant upward career mobility

To Apply

If you are an experienced GM ready to make a massive mark on the Dallas dining scene, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your philosophy on leading high-profile openings.
