
The Business Analyst serves as the lead administrator for enterprise systems like NetSuite and ADP, ensuring they are optimized to meet operational requirements. They also analyze business processes, document requirements, and lead initiatives to improve efficiency and data integrity across the organization.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or systems administration and hold a diploma or degree in a related field. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

What you will do
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer or their designate, the Business Analyst is integral in ensuring internal business systems are effectively leveraged, controlled, and optimized to meet operational requirements. The role serves as an internal administrator for key business systems, and works across the Group to identify opportunities to improve processes, automate work, strengthen controls, and improve access to information.
The Business Analyst defines and documents business and system requirements, analyzes existing processes, and recommends technology and process solutions that improve operational efficiency and advance organizational objectives. The role connects business stakeholders with internal and external technical resources to support effective implementation, testing, training, and continuous improvement of business systems.

What You Bring
The incumbent would normally be expected to have gained the required competencies through completion of a bachelor’s degree and/or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, professional certification, and relevant experience may be considered.

DCMLP generally operates five days per week, seven and a half hours per day. Employees must understand that operational requirements may require changes to schedules, shifts, or work assignments. Travel within the NWT and Canada will be required. In addition, business needs determine work hours and may require some weeks to exceed thirty-seven and a half hours.
