Job Description

Offshore Transition Manager
 

1. Strategic Planning & Governance
 

Review the program agreement from the onshore US Bank team along with US Bank GCC team 
Establish a Transition Management Office (TMO) and governance framework to monitor progress, risks, and KPIs.
Align transition goals with organizational strategy and GCC objectives
 

2. Stakeholder Engagement
 

Act as the primary liaison between Onshore US Bank, Offshore US Bank GCC, internal teams, and vendors.
Ensure stakeholder alignment through regular communication forums and escalation channels.
Drive collaboration across global and local teams for smooth execution. Strategic Planning & Governance
 

3. Talent & Resource Management
 

Collaborate with HR and delivery teams to onboard resources with required skills.
Plan for capacity ramp-up and training interventions for GCC roles.
Maintain a pipeline for niche and digital skills. 
 

4. Knowledge Transfer (KT) & Change Management


Monitor KT effectiveness and address gaps proactively
 

5. Risk & Issue Management


Identify transition risks early and develop mitigation plans.
Manage escalations for delays, resource constraints, or contractual issues.
Ensure compliance with governance and quality standards
 

6. Operational Execution
 

Support transition phases: due diligence, planning, ramp-up, and stabilization.
Track program objective changes, raise change requests (CRs), and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
Support stabilization post go-live to ensure seamless handover

Job Description:

  • Participates in the identification, design, development and implementation of assigned projects. Assigned projects may be general or systems related in nature.

  • Interfaces with internal and external resources to ensure successful and timely completion in accordance with user needs. Participates in training users and evaluating the project.

  • Manages performance of the project team and evaluates overall team performance. 

Educational Qualification & Work Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience  -

  • Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities  

Preferred Skills/Experience  -

  • Considerable knowledge of assigned business line or functional area

  • Demonstrated management and leadership skills  -

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills  -

  • Advanced knowledge of project management

Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to analyze data 

Work Model : 5 Days(Work from Office).

Shifts Hours : 11 am - 8 pm.

Location : Chennai
