JOB SUMMARY

The Scientist and Engineer labor category is comprised of Analysts, Engineers, and Scientists with knowledge and skills to apply a variety of analytical techniques to formulate and solve problems; plan for future technologies; conduct research and development; and define requirements for systems. Specific knowledge and expertise may be required in specialized engineering fields as detailed.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • This skill level requires up to 3 years of experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in the applicable discipline. This skill level is responsible for assisting more senior positions and/or performing functional duties under the oversight of more senior positions. 

SECURITY CLEARANCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a minimum of an active U.S. SECRET clearance and be subject to a government security investigation. 
  • Driving or renting a car for company business is expected with some frequency. For insurance purposes, a valid driver’s license is required.
  • Do you have the ability to pass a background check to be granted access to the specific working location installation bases to perform work for GMRE? (Pertains to Technical Services positions)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

TRAVEL REQUIRED

  • Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
