Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, nonprofit accounting, and proficiency in financial modeling and Excel are required.

Job Summary
The Accounting Manager, Financial Planning & Operations is responsible for financial analysis, budget development support, operational finance improvement, and selected accounting and invoicing functions in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles GAAP, 2 CFR Part 200, government and donor requirements, and Peninsula Family Service policies and procedures. This position partners closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cost analysis, process improvement, and special projects designed to strengthen financial operations and efficiency. The Accounting Manager also supports the annual audit, assists with monthly financial analysis, oversees certain invoicing functions, and supervises the Accounts Payable Accountant.
