Lead customer projects from contract signature through engineering, manufacturing, delivery, site execution, commissioning, acceptance, and commercial close-out. Coordinate customers and internal teams while managing contracts, budgets, cash flow, changes, claims, risks, and project performance.
Candidates need 3–5 years of relevant project, execution, commercial, or contract management experience in plant engineering, EPC, industrial equipment, infrastructure, or a comparable capital-project environment. They should have strong commercial and stakeholder-management skills, sufficient technical understanding, professional-level German and English, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience; international travel is required when projects demand it.
Once a customer contract is signed, you take end-to-end responsibility for project delivery, working closely with the customer and cross-functional teams across Engineering, Finance and Production.
You combine customer focus with commercial project management and technical coordination. You need to be comfortable in an industrial engineering environment to moderate technical discussions, understand dependencies and risks, coordinate the right specialists and drive decisions.
You will act as the central interface between the customer and PYREG, coordinating our engineering, procurement, production, logistics, site and service resources around successful project delivery.Real project ownership You will not manage one isolated workstream. You will take responsibility for bringing complex customer projects from contract signature through successful start-up and close-out.
Industrial climate technology You will work on physical infrastructure with measurable impact – combining industrial engineering with circular-economy and carbon-removal applications.
International exposure Our customers, engineering partners and projects span multiple markets, giving the role significant international exposure.
Direct access and short decision paths You will work closely with management and with the people responsible for engineering, production, service and commercial execution.
Flexible working model We are open to predominantly remote working. Presence in Dörth and at customer or project sites is expected when it adds value – particularly for project kick-offs, critical engineering reviews, site activities, commissioning and important customer meetings. Please note that applicants must currently reside in Germany and hold valid work authorization.
Employment conditions Permanent full-time employment with 30 days of annual leave.
PYREG is a German climate-tech company developing and delivering industrial pyrolysis systems that convert organic residues such as biomass and sewage sludge into valuable products, renewable energy and biochar – enabling permanent carbon removal.
We operate at the intersection of industrial plant engineering, circular economy and carbon removal, delivering capital projects for customers in international markets.
PYREG is also a build-and-scale case. We are evolving from a technology-led company into a scalable international industrial business. This means continuously improving how we engineer, execute and deliver projects. We are therefore looking for people who not only operate existing processes, but who are comfortable challenging them and building better ones.
PYREG is a global leader in Biochar Carbon Removal (BCR) technology, manufacturing industrial-scale systems that transform biomass and biosolids into high-value biochar and clean thermal energy. Our EBC-certified technology provides a future-proof waste strategy by generating revenues from waste and ensuring the guaranteed destruction of hazardous contaminants, including PFAS, pathogens, and micro-pollutants. As a provider recognized by leading carbon registries like Puro.earth and Isometric, our systems also enable clients to monetize carbon sequestration through the generation of BCR credits. Beyond equipment, we offer comprehensive consulting – from feedstock testing to system integration – to help project developers build successful, bankable biochar plants.
